There may be discomfort due to the method of skin cuts to the patient. You may feel worse , for\u00a0 few days following treatment and an increase in pain in certain areas of your body , as it adjusts and recovers.<\/p>\n<p>Other possible side effects include light headedness , which may be similar to the sensation one feels after having had blood taken by a doctor.\u00a0 As cupping therapy encourages blood flow to the cupped region (hyperaemia) ,one may therefore feel warmer and hotter as a result of vasodilatation ( widening of blood vessels ) taking place and slight sweating may occur.<\/p>\n<p>There is a sound scientific rationale for this and there is no cause to concern.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Important !<br \/>\n<\/strong>Don&#8217;t book a treatment if you have any of the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Age below 18<\/li>\n<li>Taking medications ( blood thinners ) like Warfarin , Dabigatran etc.<\/li>\n<li>Hepatitis of any type.
